｢한국 이주민 설화 DB｣를 기반으로 한 아시아 설화 AI 교육의 설계 방향 – 결혼이주여성을 매개로 한 고전여성문학의 확장을 위하여

국문 초록

본 연구는 ｢한국 이주민 설화 DB｣의 아시아 설화 자료를 생성형 AI와 연계하여, 결혼이주여성 및 다문화 청소년들이 설화 자료에 보다 쉽게 접근하고 이를 교육적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 했다. 이를 통해 21세기 다문화 시대에 결혼이주여성이 모국의 아시아 설화를 전승하고, 한국 사회 안에서 그 의미를 공유하는 고전여성문학의 문화적·문학적 주체로 확장될 수 있는 가능성을 제시하고자 하였다. 생성형 AI가 패턴의 발견을 통해 연결을 형성한다는 작동 원리에 주목하여, 구비설화의 패턴을 드러내는 ‘서사문법’과 생성형 AI의 프롬프트 설계를 연결하고, ｢한국 이주민 설화 DB｣에 수록된 아시아 설화의 화소, 대립자질, 순차구조를 분석하여 서사적 질문을 생성하는 원리를 생성형 AI 프롬프트에 적용했다. 생성형 AI를 설화의 해석 주체가 아니라 ‘서사적 질문 생성을 매개하는 도구’임을 명확하게 위치시키고, 현재의 삶과 연결되는 ‘서사적 화두’를 탐색할 수 있는 「아시아 설화 교육 프롬프트」를 설계하였다. 이 프롬프트를 통해, 아시아라는 ‘동일성’을 공유하면서도, 아시아 각국의 지형·환경·풍습·종교 등의 ‘차이’를 잃지 않고 연결되는 관계의 가능성을 모색하고자 하였다. 구체적인 사례 분석으로 인도네시아 설화 <말린꾼당>을 대상으로 프롬프트를 적용하여, 생성형 AI가 생성한 ‘서사적 질문’의 내용을 검토하였다. 결혼이주여성이 생성형 AI 기반의 「아시아 설화 교육 프롬프트」의 ‘서사적 질문’을 활용하여 아시아 설화를 해석하고 의미를 구성하는 과정에 능동적으로 참여할 수 있는 활로를 마련하였고, 이를 통해 방과 후 활동 등 다문화교육 현장에서 상호문화감수성을 확장하는 문화교육의 주체로 자리매김해 갈 수 있음을 논하였다.

영문 초록

This study explores ways of linking Asian folktale materials archived in the Korean Migrant Folktale Database with generative AI in order to help marriage immigrant women and multicultural youth access and utilize folktale resources more effectively in educational settings. In doing so, it seeks to demonstrate the possibility of expanding the subjects of classical women's literature in the multicultural era by recognizing marriage immigrant women as cultural and literary agents who transmit Asian folktales from their home countries and share their meanings within Korean society. Focusing on the operational principle of generative AI, which forms connections through pattern discovery, this study connects the Narrative Grammar of oral folktales with prompt design for generative AI. The principles of generating Narrative Questions through the analysis of motif units, binary oppositions, and sequential structures found in Asian folktales archived in the Korean Migrant Folktale Database were incorporated into the design of AI prompts. More specifically, this study proposes an AI prompt model based on Narrative Grammar that guides learners to explore Narrative Issues through AI-generated Narrative Questions by relating folktales to their own lives. Generative AI is therefore positioned not as the subject of interpretation but as a tool that mediates the generation of narrative questions, allowing marriage immigrant women to participate actively in interpreting Asian folktales and constructing their meanings as educational and cultural agents. As a case study, the proposed prompt was applied to the Indonesian folktale Malin Kundang, the Ungrateful Son, and the narrative questions generated by generative AI were examined. The findings suggest that AI-based Asian Folktale Education Prompts provide marriage immigrant women with meaningful opportunities to interpret Asian folktales and construct their meanings. Furthermore, these prompts have the potential to support them as educational agents who foster intercultural sensibility in multicultural educational settings, including after-school programs.
