발달재활서비스 기관에서의 작업치료학과 학생 임상실습 경험에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 발달재활서비스 제공기관에서 임상실습을 경험한 작업치료학과 학생들의 경험을 심층적으로 탐색하고, 실습 교육의 질적 향상 및 실습기관과 교육기관 간 협력 체계 구축을 위한 기초자료를 마련하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구 참여자는 광주 H대학교 작업치료학과 4학년 재학생 8명으로, 2025년 5월 비대면 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 인터뷰는 반구조화된 질문지를 기반으로 약 90분간 진행되었으며, 사전 설문을 통해 주요 논의 주제를 도출하였다. 수집된 자료는 클로바노트를 활용해 전사한 후 질적 내용 분석을 통해 주제별로 범주화하였다. 분석 결과, 학생들은 사전 정보의 부족, 실습지 선택권의 제한, 피드백 부재, 과제 부담에 대한 어려움을 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 동시에 장애 아동에 대한 긍정적 인식의 변화를 경험하였으며, 작업치료사의 역할이 상담 및 기획으로 확장되고 있음을 인식하였다. 또한 발달재활 바우처 제도의 목적과 결제 시스템이 실습 환경에 영향을 미치고 있음을 이해하게 되었다. 본 연구는 실습 교육의 개선과 효과적인 지원 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study explored the experiences of occupational therapy students during clinical training at developmental rehabilitation service institutions. It aimed to provide basic data to improve the quality of clinical education and build cooperative systems between training and educational institutions. Eight fourth-year students from the Department of Occupational Therapy at H University in Gwangju participated. Data were collected in May 2025 through an online focus group interview. The interview lasted about 90 minutes and was based on a semi-structured questionnaire. Key discussion topics were identified through a preliminary survey. The data were transcribed using ClovaNote and analyzed through qualitative content analysis. The results showed that students faced difficulties such as insufficient pre-training information, limited choice of training sites, lack of feedback, and heavy assignment loads. They also reported positive changes in their perception of children with disabilities and recognized the expanding roles of occupational therapists in counseling and program planning. In addition, they understood how the objectives and payment system of the developmental rehabilitation voucher program influence the training environment. This study highlights the need to improve clinical education and develop effective support programs.
