The Korean traditional fairy tale "Cinderella of Korea" is a rare fairy tale inherited from our ancestors. A daughter is born to an elderly couple in an ordinary village living in a traditional Korean house. Its name is Pear Blossom. However, after a while, an elderly mother dies. So the father gets a stepmother to raise his daughter. At this time, the stepmother brings her own daughter, Pony. They tease Pear Blossom from the day they come. In the end, even his father dies of old age. From this point on, the bullying of Pony, the stepmother and stepmother's biological daughter, has become violent. Because his old husband died, she didn't want to raise her stepdaughter and wants to sell her to China. So she force her to do impossible things.
First, order to fill a broken jar with water in front of the kitchen. At this time, a big frog will help fill the water. At this time, Pear Blossom go to the village festival when she finish what her stepmother told her to do. There were many rough stones on the way. But when Pear Blossom hit the shoe on the big stone to take out the stone of the straw shoe, there was a prince's march. Pear Blossom loses a pair of straw shoes while trying to hide because she think the prince calls her. And the appearance of running away looks like a crane, so the prince is interested. The prince has no choice but to take her shoes and have people look for Pear Blossom. It is a story about meeting beautiful Pear Blossom and marrying a prince at a village festival.
